Our Exmoor restaurant operates a zero waste policy offering a 4/5 course daily changing set dinner menu, composed from local sources including our own kitchen garden and personally foraged flavours of Exmoor as well as some speciality products from further afield, our chef, co proprietor was born in Naples. For us to achieve zero waste it is usually necessary to book in advance with occasional same day availability. We consciously limit the number of tables in the restaurant to enable you to fully enjoy an elevated dining experience where great attention and creativity is put into cooking the dishes to delight both taste and vision, from the bread to the chocolate, all is made in house by us for you, in this way we control the quality and provenance of what is being served. We will try to meet dietary preferences where possible and wish both our hotel guests and restaurant customers to know the food served to you has been reared in a humane way and is free of toxic preservatives and chemicals, we even filter our cooking water and we are always improving. A finely curated wine list is also available with chef Pio on hand to make recommendations if you wish.
